I went for a walk in the morning because in this heat it's an effort to catch up with steps in the afternoon. It was still hot, but at least I wasn't weary with it in the morning.
Made tzaziki and a salad of diced tomatoes, onions, coriander, lime juice and a splash of spicy sauce. These are to go with the quiche for dinner. Would have been healthier had we not added chips from our local Turkish place! Anyway, very tasty and we had it on the patio.
In-between times, another walk, the Sunday newspaper and Bb and I did some weeding and and tidying up of the patio garden. All the ivy leaves, now brown, needed picking up from the big cutting back recently. We couldn't see the soil for the leaves! We then did a wee regig of this corner in my blip, placing the tiles a bit better to let us in and out more easily. That bit that doesn't get much direct sun and so we need to be careful of what we put there and the marquesa leaves often provide more shade there too when the spread out!
Managed 13,000 steps and weekly total of 81,000. Back on track after a recent dip. These walks aren't really exercise walks though as it's far too hot, but at least it's moving.
