Cookie's sister day two - Destiny
Had brunch at Avenue G on Byers Road. Their eggs cocotte are superb. They also do some very nice single source coffees which are prepared by a barrista with a passion for coffee. My first cup with my eggs was the Brazilian blend, which was mellow.
After the eggs I got a second cup, this time the Guatemalan blend which was richer in flavour. This accompanied the second day of discussions over the name of Cookie's sister. Unsurprisingly we went through a range of cakes and biscuits. We had a few trees, with Rowan being a close call.
However the name we currently have, which we will spend a few days mulling over, before the final decision, is Kizzmit.
This is a play on Kismet, the word for fate or destiny. Kizzmit was originally planned to go to another family, however, due to work commitments, they are now having to move to Australia. We had only planned to get one puppy, indeed we were on our way home before stopping in a lay by and discussing the benefits of two. It was her destiny to come to us and join our pack.
