Finally a hug

Today we went into the big city to visit our daughter and her husband. It was our reunion day, my daughter called it. Our first hug day since this whole pandemic thing started. It has been, and still is, a stressful time for them with him being an organ transplant person and significantly immunocompromised. It has been very hard for us to be able to only offer comfort through a video call or six feet away on the doorstep as they dealt with the worry of him catching COVID and her not being able to work from home.  Now that we have all been vaccinated they feel safer allowing us into their tiny bubble. What a glorious and long hug it was!
