It's not just moths that fly in through the bedroom window..D was snoozing away this morning when a swallow found its way in and had to be helped out again. He brought it downstairs and I took a quick photo before we released it into the garden again. Such a privilege to see a bird like this up close and personal.

I've not done a great deal today..had an appointment at the library to get my photo taken for my bus pass - very excited about this! The library lady told me about her recent bus jaunt to Portpatrick. Amazing that I will be able to travel anywhere in Scotland for free :-)

Had my lunch under the tree again and this afternoon I cooked a new dish for tea - Meera Sodha's Aubergine Fesenjan - so colourful! 

Drumming tonight - hoping to go on my bike if I'm not too full of food :-)
