Wildflower
A heady bouquet on the lakeside for this newly emerged migrant hawker.
Picking him up from the floor we had a bit of a to-do with grass stalks and entanglement however after popping him safely up onto the reed grass he seemed much happier being able to dry out his wings. Never one to miss a photo op or even set one up I plinked away.

Too hot to work in the garden, I didn't fancy the office much either so ended up at Ripple North Lake pond. I did envy the swans looking very cool gliding around!
