In the light

I thought that I might play with a layer in Affinity Photo.  The darkening of the background is not perfect but it will do for the moment.

I tried yesterday for ages to find spot metering on my Fujifilm X100F, in an attempt to isolate this nasturtium in the shot rather than afterwards on my computer.  Eventually I had to search a forum: if Face Detection was enabled (it was) the Photometry part of the menu was inoperative.  Hmmm!

I took this with my little Panasonic TZ200, a camera which gives very good results (for a small sensor zoom) as long as you choose your focal length with care – not too long . . .
