Falkirk Wheel

We stopped by the Falkirk Wheel on the way home today. It really is a remarkable feat of engineering.  We didn't go on the wheel, but CyclopsJnr enjoyed the park, splash pool, paddle boats and bungee trampolines there.  We had a picnic lunch in the shade under the aquaduct and a wee bit of a cycle too.

It was fairly busy and outrageously warm (the car thought it was over 26 degrees)

Afterwards we went to Canada Wood for a quick lap of the Green Trail to let CyclopsJnr try out some new mountain bike protective gear he got.

It's nice to be home now, but we enjoyed our weekend away!
