Free As A Butterfly

Free as a butterfly? Well, maybe not quite that free - nevertheless, it was a good feeling to finally reach 'Freedom Day' in England today. Feeling sad and repressed had become a normal way to exist. Today, it was good to feel optimism and joy, and to see others in town looking cheerful and being able to actually see their smiles Time now to live our lives accepting that risk is part of life.

Another really hot day. After midday the best plan was to stay indoors. I did a few strolls around the garden where this solitary Small White was feasting on the Buddleia. Given the rarity of butterflies this summer, it was a cheering sight.
