Scottish Lavender Oils, Loch Leven

We spent a great morning at the lavender farm and got a great lung-full of that scent. Lots of other wild flowers and herbs to admire too. 
I was talking to Rory, one of the owners and he advised that harvesting will begin in a week or thereabouts so visit soon and also visit early in the day because it can get busy.
Home again and the heat was really building, I saw 26C on the car dashboard! 
We dropped in on Ali, E & E this afternoon. They were sheltering indoors as it was so hot. 
Chloe will have to wait a little yet before she goes for her evening stroll.
