Swan on a mission ……

……. and that was to get the Greylag geese to move out of the way. The male swan is really intolerant of the geese. There is plenty of room for all so why can they not live in harmony.

It won’t be too long now till the first of the goslings are off to find a place of their own. Later on in the autumn the Canada Geese will depart leaving the adult Greylags to fight it out with the swans.

Another scorching day ….. much too hot for me. I’m collecting Poppy at 9 tomorrow morning to give her a walk before it gets too hot. Need to set the alarm ….. just in case I happen to sleep in!
