Urban machair

There's a lovely strip of wild flowers in Inverleith Park at the moment. It looks like urban machair. I photographed it when on my post-breakfast/pre-work walk this morning.

Most of the rest of the day was spent at my machine, mainly working on research assessment tasks. I also posted to my blog the piece that I wrote about Katherine's internship yesterday. The weather is still lovely so I was able to eat both my lunch and dinner outside again at my purple (for the time being) table in the back garden.

Exercise today: walking (10,635 steps).
