First of the butterflies.

I was just saying to MrC that I hadn’t seen any butterflies in the garden when this red admiral flew past and settled on the fence. For some reason didn’t seem interested in the flowers. Unfortunately it looks a bit battered.

Another lovely summer’s day. Managed to get all my washing dry.

Tonight we decided to have a BBQ. and sat out in the garden it felt like being on holiday.

Apart from the washing have had a lazy day sat in the shade reading. Just started a book by Elly Griffiths. “ The Stranger Diaries”. I have enjoyed her Dr Ruth Galloway Mysteries, set in North Norfolk.
A bit different from The Kite Runner which I read last week.
