Dunnock

Well I have survived my second day of isolation! I was pinged on Saturday afternoon, so our plans to see the parents yesterday were scuppered, and I obviously can’t work this week, but I have had a good day. 

Amongst other things I have cleared out the coat cupboard, and it looks significantly better. I have also washed everything from the washing basket including all the odds and sods that are hand wash only and got them dried and put away.

Reggie has been wearing a cone for a few days as he had been nibbling at a scratch on his leg and making it sore. This evening we noticed something wrong with his eye, it looks like he has torn his eyelid. It doesn’t seem to be bothering him at all, but he will be at the vets tomorrow. 

Been sat out in the garden this evening , now it is cooler and enjoyed watching this Dunnock scavenging on the lawn. Such understated yet pretty birds.

Think I may need to be creative with blip over the next few days of enforced isolation.
