Return of the purple loosestrife

Hot day.  Saved my walk for this evening, after dinner, when outside was cooler than indoors - and had a lovely wander round the summery heath.  I'm happy to see the purple loosestrife starting to bloom round the edge of the pond, too.  As I was taking this, a small child kicked their football into the water, and a man ran off to get something to retrieve it.  I carried on taking photos of course (including of the football) ;)
