Surfing Sandy

We are spending the night with our friends T&C, out on Gibson Island as we celebrated T's 70th birthday.  We all have fond memories of his 60th that we spent in a villa in Tuscany, but this year a trip like that wasn't an option but we had just as much fun. 

Late afternoon, we took a walk down to the end of the island where the Magothy River enters the Chesapeake Bay.   This is the dog's favorite place to go and she love's to fetch sticks thrown in the water.  It became quite windy and this little Corgy with her short little legs didn't let the waves stop her.  It was amusing to watch.  She was quite exhausted when we got back.
