Trees.

We started the first big planting job of the year today - a garden on the south side of Edinburgh. Normally this is a fairly pleasant early spring task, but today it was bitterly cold and not so much fun.

But it's always nice to see how the arrival of lots of trees & shrubs make such a difference to a garden, so it'll be worth it in the summer when it's all in flower.

We had to abandon the task earlier than planned though - couldn't see anything in the horizontal snow!
