New Route

Bit of a hazy start to the day but I still made it to my friends almost on time. I stayed longer than I normally do but eventually it was time to make a move. Walking with Paddy we went past one of the most historic country homes in Cornwall; this house on Silverdale Road.

Marlborough House stands in grounds of 1.6 acres and dates back to the early 1800s when it was built by Captain John Bull of the Falmouth Packet Service, who named his new home after his ship The Duke of Marlborough.
Having changed hands numerous times and with a bit of a chequered past it now looks like holiday accommodation. In all the times I have walked past it I have yet to see anyone in or around it.

More beer in the evening but a more sedate pace with my Thursday Gang friends. Home by 10:15pm and bed by 11:00, I really am too old for this.
