Chioggia

I never liked beets as a kid, but these are tasty as well as pretty. Time to plant some more. I spent half an hour in the veggie garden trying to address some neglected spots, before getting to work indoors. Now enjoying the peaceful chirping of crickets...quintessential summer sound for me.
