What happened to Tate?

The boss found this in one of the British stores that caters to ex-pats here, and it had to be bought. The taste of it was exquisite and brought back so many memories of having it on bread when I was a kid, basically, a sugar butty.

"But where's the Tate?" I thought.
Google informed me that Tate and Lyle was very recently spilt into two companies.
Lyle's Golden Syrup?  It just doesn't seem right.

Ah well...
