First day of the holidays

Izzy and Tilly came for the day today and we all walked down to the beach and enjoyed some lunch at the beach cafe. The grass was incredibly green due to the abundance of rain we have not really enjoyed recently ;)

The children counted ten boats anchored in Petit Port. We always used to bring our boat there too, it’s a perfect place for a picnic and for children to play, the beach is so sandy.
It was very very hot, in fact sizzling, not a breath of wind and so we were glad to walk home under the shade of the trees.

The children glazed some little pots they had made before going home.

Daisy dog is almost 13 years old and has been diagnosed with diabetes. We now add the two daily injections she needs to our growing list of skills.
