Back at the pond

Managed to get a few things sorted in town today though still a few more to do........there's always something else to be done, it seems.  Treated myself to an hour-plus at the pond but stats from today's effort very poor by comparison to my last visit......today - 700-plus shots, just 10 that were anywhere near ok and zero real keepers.  This was the best of the OKs.  I find I'm getting the birds in the frame more consistently but the autofocus isn't fixing on them quickly enough ie before they disappear out of frame.  Think I need to revisit my AF settings.........  Still, a thoroughly enjoyable time and a wee challenge I could become very addicted to.
