The pickup truck was invented for Mexicans

Unlike many other parts of the world, the use of the pickup truck as a human conveyance is almost ubiquitous in parts of Mexico.  The lack of seat belts does not appear to be a major deterrent.  In fact, many of the police use a similar approach in their patrols.  By my count, ten people occupied the back of this truck.  They were headed to a local beach for the day.
