Yellow and green -Mellow yellow ?

After a 'groovy' Blip yesterday maybe a 'mellow yellow' Blip today is appropriate.  Little cricket on St-John's wort flower for Tiny Tuesday with thanks to osuzanna for hosting.

Trying to keep my spirits up in the garden though the news today about the Delta-variant seemingly trumping whatever vaccinations were had is so discouraging. Fully vaccinated people can not only get the Delta-variant (though in most cases not the serious kind) but will be very contagious too (apparently a thousand times more than with the earlier variants). Which means that being fully vaccinated is not a free pass to start living 'normally' again (not that I had plans of hugging strangers or even friends, going clubbing or even going on a holiday). Testing, keeping your distance, quarantine are all going to be everyday occasions for the foreseeable future for all of us :-(
