TOKEN EXCHANGE

Some of you may remember Locomotive 65894 posted here going on her hols recently. Well today, she was back working in the heat at the NYMR, seen her at Goathland Station. Here the track reverts to single-line operation . . . so main image shows the exchange of line tokens with the signalman. Extra shows the same token being collected from the Grosmont train prior to this. Tokens enables line sections to be kept free by allowing access only to one train at a time.  Hot, hot, hot . . . keep going everyone. Stay safe !
