Being a good sport!

Although I officially became the best rounders player in Year 9 a few weeks ago, when I was the only person who scored a ‘rounder’ in a PE session (in fact, I was one of the few who even hit the ball!), I was very glad that there were no teachers’ events at today’s Sports Day.

I had a pizza at lunchtime as I figured I’d burn off a lot of calories sitting and watching the proceedings but I was quickly handed a clipboard and pen and had to record the students’ names, tutor groups and timings for all the races. At the end, I was asked to take pictures of the awards ceremony so I’ve come home well and truly knackered but it was brilliant fun and the students were all incredible!
