Cooling Off

Year 2 Day 119 of UK COVID-19 Pandemic.  First UK Vaccine 225 days ago. UK open. England 2nd day open!!  Overseas travel restrictions.

After taking granddaughter Amelia to pre-school this afternoon, I dropped Mrs BB at the start of her one mile swim downstream on the River Wye, and I went to the finish at Monmouth Quay (South Wales). After setting up the stove I went in the river for half hour to escape the 31C heat and wait for her. I chatted to the mum with her 3 year old daughter on a paddle board; one of so many using them at the rowing club along with canoes. Nothing quite like messing about in water on a hot day!
