Spot the Dog

Keith watered some parts of the garden very thoroughly last night. Tempting fate.... Well it worked...fate was tempted.
Rain, rain, rain, lovely soft rain from early this morning. There was 18 mm in our rain gauge this evening. We did get a very heavy downpour around 9.30am when I was driving down to the Taylor River. We don't want very heavy rain as the ground is so hard it will run off and cause flooding problems.
The two Maine Coons were very puzzled with the wet. Keith let them outdoors early and it wasn't long before they re-appeared in the kitchen looking very damp. In fact big Morris stood there and shook himself just like a dog. I have never seen a cat shake itself like that. It was very funny.
I put the dogs into the back of the 4x4 drive ready for their wet run. They loved the change in the weather.
Today's Blip may pose a puzzle for some. "Spot the Dog". Yes, that ginger object is Fergus captured through the side window of the vehicle. Gypsy is the vague black shape in the background.
We hope for some more rain overnight. I do hope our Blip friends in the drier areas of the country are having some decent amounts to ease the big dry.
