Short-eared Owl

I cycle up to Tingwall and caught the 08.20 ferry to Rousay. Then headed west along the one road that goes right round the island. This owl flew over and landed. I took a couple of shots then it rose and hooted at me so I figured it must have a nest nearby and departed. Maybe it just doesn't like cyclists. The usual other birds- ravens, stonechats, arctic terns etc.There were four grey seals hauled out at Saviskaill Bay but too far to phot without disturbing them. On the ferry back I saw about 30=40 hauled out on skerries.
