Going to Seed

The coriander is in full bloom and it looks like it’ll be a bumper year for collecting the seeds. It really grows like a weed here, self-seeding every year so that I just have to transplant a few plants each spring then leave them alone. If only everything in the allotment was that little trouble!
I headed up there late morning but after a couple of hours it was just too hot to work (yes, you read that correctly). So a late lunch and a quiet afternoon followed before I magically found myself another bottle of Orkney Gold and settled down on Roy’s bench for some evening sunshine reading. I hope he’s still away for the rest of the week, I’m getting quite comfy on that bench.
