Kelso

We went on the Borders train from Edinburgh today. It was an interesting trip. We spent some time in Kelso, which is a lovely town. We’d hoped to visit the abbey ruins but sadly they were closed due to safety concerns so we had to be content with walking round outside and looking at it from a distance. We didn’t visit the castle, I think we’re a bit castled out!
