A Yellow Leaf

The sun has been quite brutal today and I was pleased to find shade where I could. Beneath an old wall at Buckland Abbey I looked up through an overhanging shrub and noticed this leaf hanging down and catching the light. It seemed somehow to capture the timeless spirit of the Abbey.
