Finally got back out there!

I wasn’t expecting much because it was the middle of a hot day, but what a wonderful nature walk I ended up having. Obviously I couldn’t pick a single picture… I could barely pick nine pictures.

The top two pictures are an eastern kingbird. A new lifer for me. Captured him just as he captured his dragonfly lunch. The picture in the top right corner isn’t even five seconds after the one with the dragonfly in his mouth.  Beneath that one and in the middle are the dragonflies that did get away. There is a black pollinator on a purple flower and a bright green pollinator on a yellow flower. In the middle on the left is a limpkin with a baby. The bottom pictures are blackbellied whistling ducks. In the bottom left is the mating pair with their nine babies… on the bottom right is one of the adults enjoying a quiet moment.
