Beating the weather ...

..... ..... ..... with its lovely warm rug, this little donkey looked so snugged up this morning.

I’d taken Missy to the Vets to check her weight. She lost weight while I was away, which was good as she’d been putting on too much, but I’d been concerned she might have started piling it on again. But no, all’s well!

I’ve had an influx of visitors this afternoon. A couple from Christchurch who I’ve known for years, plus my three Auckland grandchildren. The grandchildren are all well over 6’ and are so slender & tall. They’re down here for skiing during the school holidays.
