Garden shoes

A selection of shoes ready for slipping on before going out into the garden.

Another hot day. An unexpected consequence of having all the windows open - a baby blackbird fluttered into the lounge while we were watching television this evening! After 10 minutes of trying to usher it towards the windows while it flew from the bookcase to the curtain rail to the top of a picture to behind the sofa to the television, we managed to persuade it into a box and out of the window. Amazingly, it didn’t poop anywhere but we shut the windows after that!
