Good journey up to Carlisle area. For some reason I have been telling everyone our first stop was Yorkshire!! No idea where that came from!! Been mammoth few weeks so I’m going to blame my scattiness on work!!

We stopped off at a local tarn for a nice stroll then arrived at lovely hotel just after 3pm. 28 degrees

Wednesday (today) off to do Hadrian’s wall and then a circular walk around a viaduct

Tomorrow we head up to Scotland
