Look out shelter.
We went to the coast today. Specifically the area around Robin hoods bay and Ravenscar.
We mainly went because Darren’s weather app said it was going to be cooler on coast than inland. It was slightly cooler but still far too warm for Darren. I did go for a paddle in the sea, retrieving a stick that Darren was throwing in for me.
This photo was taken in a look out shelter quite near to Ravenscar. It was built in 1935 and was used to look out for German boats and planes. There was a Radar station here too, the building is still here but you can’t go inside it like you can with this look out building. It’s pretty close to the edge of the cliffs and it’s got a fantastic view. If you walk the Cleveland way you will walk past this, it was so quiet when we were there , bliss.
