Cooling off

Very hot in the charity shop and was glad to get away.  Was going to go to some of the surrounding shops but decided it was too hot and there was nothing I needed desperately.
Chopped the legs down on the pending policewoman trousers.  She had told me that all 3 pairs were identical but I found that two were slightly different in style and they only needed shortening by 7" instead of 10".  Phew! thank goodness I checked or she would have been wearing them at 'half mast'.
Had a text to say I needed my 'annual' blood test.  As I haven't had one for nearly two years it made me smile.  Would you believe I rang up and got an appointment for tomorrow with the nurse.  Nearly fainted on the spot!
