The New Wheels

We have been borrowing a car from our parents, which we are entirely grateful for. It made our transition extremely smooth and alleviated any anxieties associated with trying to get back onto our feet since returning to the States. Fearing that an extended loan of their car will strain my in-laws' marital bliss, it was time to find our own.

We really want to make greener decisions when it comes to our purchasing power. Starting over with a clean slate, we are thrilled we can make this choice and know we are doing our best for Mother Earth. One good green decision at a time can really add up and make a difference. So, a Toyota Prius it was. And we love it! It's a smooth and extremely quiet ride and quite roomy, too. I'm sure to miss some amenities our previous minivan afforded us, like throwing three bikes into the boot, or packing skis into the van, but that's what racks are for anyway.
