Butterfly or moth?
Thanks to gen2 I now know it is a Skipper butterfly.
A cooler morning with some light cloud, so decided to do our “ lockdown “ walk which we haven’t done for about a month.
How things have changed. The grass is now head high, more wild flowers including the rosebay willownerb.
Lots of butterflies about, mainly brown ones, but very difficult to capture.
I’m not sure what this one is on the ragwort, but the only one which stopped still long enough for a decent photo.
Extras of the lambs which have certainly grown. Also the willowherb.
Collect some eggs on our way back. He had a fan going in the little shed to keep the eggs cool.
All meals out in the garden.
We had a lovely Rosé with our salmon tonight, and the first of our homegrown Charlotte potatoes.
I bought it from the wine shop in Boroughbridge. Recommend by the owner.
The first time I have had a Portuguese Rosé.
Delicious. We finished the bottle! Only 11.5%.

Now off to do the watering again. Hopefully OK tomorrow, but thunderstorms on Saturday.
