Old Friend

I met an old school friend for coffee this morning.
I hadn't seen he in nearly 30 years so it was good to do some catching up.
We will need to meet again to fill in some more of the gaps.

Other old friends I met today were the Snakes Head Fritillaria in the garden.
Not just the purple ones - but the cream ones too.

The biggest problem I had shooting the flowers was one of the cats.
I got down to take the pictures and she took that as her cue to come and play.
