What a difference two minutes make
Today we drove further north on the island to visit one of its most famous landmarks - the Old man of Storr, a rocky hill on the Trotternish Peninsula. I think this is probably when I damaged my back. Although it's not a particularly long walk - about a 50 minute climb - it is very steep in places and quite challenging at times for someone who isn't very tall. The extras show the views taken two minutes before the main shot so we were so lucky to be able to have a quick snack in the sunshine when we reached the top. The third extra shows the view out to sea at the bottom of the hill 10 minutes later. The fourth extra show part of the climb up the hill 20 minutes after the main shot was taken.
