I think this one is a juvenile heron and would make sense to see it standing in the pool as a pair of adult herons have been hanging around the back yard for a while.  Do you think they introduced the baby to our pool???
Two photos in extra spot are the night heron and a great egret.....all three were in the pool area this morning!
