Klepto duck

I'm now pretty convinced this duck has been collecting other ducks' babies.  It was hard to count them all, but I think there were 13 in total - this is just a selection of them.  They definitely aren't all hers originally, as most are a different breed (tufted ducks, not mallards).  Well, it looks like she's doing a good job of looking after them all!

Another hot, hot day.  Had a decent work day, and Tim was feeling quite a bit better again.  He went up to the hospital for some blood tests this morning - and felt fine walking there and back.

I saved my walk for after work again, when it was a little cooler.  Then hurried home to cook us a curry for a late-ish dinner.
