Saskatchewan, with a dog

We are in the heart of Saskatchewan here and the farms are big and there are many old homesteads to be purchased. Like our daughter and son in law did here. ( I saw 22 acres for sale with a simple house, large barn, outbuildings, three car garage, all for 74,000 Canadian. Yes really)

They are on an adventure to raise some lambs for wool and some chickens, maybe a goat or two, and live fairly simply. No big dreams about huge farms or retirement to a warmer climate.

It’s hard work getting this place up and running again, really hard work. But they are doing it. They are happy and laughing again, which is great to hear.

So who knows where it ends up. For now we will just enjoy what they are having, they adventure of a lifetime.
