Baby something!

I woke early and was out walking by 6.40am - almost unheard of for me, but it was so peaceful and the light was lovely. This little bird was one of the first things I saw flying across my path. It's a bit cropped and it was determined to sit behind that twig the only time it moved was to show me it's rear view! Still I'm not certain which young it is, maybe a Wren I did see adults later.
A little later the Butterflies got up and I saw hundreds of Gatekeepers, a Red Admiral, a six spot Burnet, a few Skippers and the up to now illusive Speckled Wood. I am determined to get a good shot of the Speckled Wood before the end of the season - I know where they live now and what time they rise and shine!
