Slowing down ....

.... taking it extremely easy today by mainly sitting in garden and reading.

I've just started The Devil and the Dark Water by Stuart Turton, whose first book was The Seven Death of Evelyn Hardcastle and an really enjoying it. 

Oh and in today's other news the heat has prompted me to dig one of my 3 dresses out the wardrobe and wear it. 

We've been invited over to friends' for a bbq tonight which will be nice. 

T did a "big shop" today - plenty of fresh produce, staples like pasta in short supply and absolutely no beer. I attribute the later to a combination of logistics, visitor numbers and heat.
