Goodbye Edinburgh

We’re off on the long train journey back to Southampton today. Just time for a quick lunch and ginger beer in the local trendy cafe in Edinburgh.
It really is goodbye to Edinburgh, for me at least. When Graham started work in Edinburgh nine years ago we bought a small flat up there. Now he’s retiring we have no further need of it and we’ve sold it. Graham will be going up a few more times to clear it, and hopefully find homes for all his books! So no more cheap holidays in Edinburgh! We will be coming back though. It’s such a lovely city.
