Boiler. Bugger.

Initial service for the boiler to start our cover. We needed a couple of bits replaced which they’ll do tomorrow. Fair enough, it’s an older boiler. Chap was friendly and then off he went. Then the main fuse for the house tripped. We reset. As soon as the boiler goes on it flicks again. Bugger.

Managed to get him back via a priority call out because of having a young child. Eventually he finds the offending part. Bad news, we can’t use the boiler until it’s replaced. Good news, he’ll be able to do that tomorrow with the other bits. Hopefully everything will be ok after that.

Thankfully we have an electric shower downstairs so it’s just a bit annoying to have to boil the kettle for the washing up.

No wonder the inside looks like a sad robot. Poor thing.
