Well another hot day and the COVID numbers and trends looking worrying once again. Purple looks to cover large swathes of the UK.

Had a new floor installed today. The company delivered on time and to an excellent quality so there are still good suppliers.

We approach with trepidation installation of our shutters next Tuesday. Some big questions - will the installer turn up, will the shutters be damaged, will the shutters fit. The company feedback on Trust Pilot is showing 40% of their customer base totally dissatisfied. Over 3000 unsatisfactory reviews. Not bad for a national company that advertisers widely on TV.

Today's image is part of the work in progress on the Xmas book. The face is glass artwork by Andrew Logan, installed in the hotel we stayed in earlier this week. Still work to be done but this image will become the Queen of the Dragons.
