I went out to see how the igloo was progressing and got distracted watching this robin chasing the blue tits away from the food I put in the bird feeders. He gave up when the woodpecker came. I took hot chocolate out again to the children which they were very grateful for. Murron stayed out for as long as she could, but in the end she came in a little teary from the cold. I thawed her out by the woodburner and we watched a film together cosied up on the sofa.
